Senior lecturer and programme leader at META University Andrey Molganov took part in KazHackStan 2026, one of the largest information security and technology events in Central Asia. He spoke in the Hardware / PCB Development section with the talk "Made in Kazakhstan. PCB and Electronics".
Andrey Molganov is a systems engineer in hardware development of high-speed and high-frequency systems and a researcher in technical information security and radio-frequency systems. In his talk he shared hands-on experience of building an electronics development team: from assigning roles and choosing software and production equipment to shipping finished products.
Special attention was paid to the economy and the market: who commissions electronics development in Kazakhstan today, how to adapt design processes to local conditions, and what holds back the growth of the electronics industry as a systematic field. Every aspect was examined through a real case, from the perspective of the team's founder.
Taking part in KazHackStan reflects META University's commitment to practice-oriented engineering education and closer ties with industry. The experience and industry contacts gained will be used in the university's degree programmes.
