On 28 September 2026, first-year students of the Law programme attended a guest lecture organised by senior lecturers of the School of Creative Economy and Law Ayazhan Kulazhanova and Assemgul Ussenbayeva.
The invited speaker was Police Major Balgyn Isayev of the Auezov District Police Department, who shared his professional experience with the students.
The lecture covered one of today’s pressing social problems — the hidden distribution of drugs through “dead drops” — as well as public order, crime prevention and legal liability under the law.
The students showed keen interest and asked the speaker questions that mattered to them. Major Isayev answered in detail, giving concrete examples.
The meeting took the form of an open discussion and helped the students connect theory with practice, improve their legal literacy and learn more about the practical side of their future profession.
At the end, the students thanked the guest for an informative meeting.
