Goal 7 At META University, the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) is carried out through the adoption of energy-efficient technologies and the development of renewable energy infrastructure within the ESG strategy and the Green Campus model. The university has introduced solutions such as the use of solar panels, as well as energy-efficient lighting and equipment systems, which help reduce energy consumption and optimize operational costs. In addition, a resource monitoring and management system is in place to track electricity consumption and improve the efficiency of infrastructure usage.
Within the framework of the GREEN DEAL HUB and the Living Lab model, the university implements applied projects aimed at forecasting and optimizing energy consumption, introducing intelligent management systems, and developing green technologies using artificial intelligence and data analytics. Students are actively involved in the development of these solutions, with participation rates exceeding 60%. The implementation of these initiatives contributes to reducing environmental impact, advancing sustainable energy, and developing competencies in energy efficiency, in line with the requirements of the QS Sustainability Ranking.
