Goal 8 At META University, the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8) is carried out through the development of career services, practice-oriented education, and strong engagement with employers. The university ensures students’ integration into the labor market through internships, practical training, and participation in joint projects with industry partners. A key mechanism is the Industrial Council, which contributes to the development of academic programs aligned with labor market needs and supports the implementation of applied initiatives. The share of students undertaking internships within partner organizations is at least 75%, fostering the development of professional competencies and enhancing graduate employability.
In addition, META University promotes an entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting startup projects, ESG initiatives, and student participation in hackathons and project-based activities. Within the Living Lab and GREEN DEAL HUB frameworks, applied projects are implemented to develop innovative solutions and new business models. Student engagement in project-based and entrepreneurial activities exceeds 60%, with more than 20 projects carried out annually in collaboration with industry partners. These measures contribute to sustainable economic growth, the development of human capital, and alignment with the requirements of the QS Sustainability Ranking.
